found a lush shaded grove in the berkeley hills, where i went about creating this piece with some chalk like stone that i found under some moss and ferns.

tree mirage. then and now.

on march 4, 2006, noah and i collaborated on the tree mirage. on february 10, 2007, the majority of the bits and pieces of bark and small branches that we used, were intact, albeit a bit decomposed and overgrown with grass and small weeds. here are two pics side by side.
